To cheat or not to cheat? That’s life’s biggest challenge. My principal is, if you’re already eating junk throughout the week, do you even need or have that urge to eat a ‘dirty’ meal? To be able to have a cheat meal, you’ve gotta earn it. How do you do so? You’ve gotta be in a substantial amount of caloric deficit throughout the week and then you would earn that ‘cheat’. I would highly suggest if you’re looking for a deficit that won’t make you feel sluggish and lethargic to be around 10-15% deficit from TDEE (total daily energy expenditure). For me during competition prep, I’ll go up to 25-30%. #teamjosephlai #josephlaifitness #wdcnutrition #anytimefitnesssunwaygeo #fitspo #fitness #hypertrophycoach #bodybuilding #bodybuilder #fitnessaddict #classicbodybuilding #ripped #aesthetic #fitfam #shred #strengthandconditioning #physique #mensphysique #motivation #personaltraining #personaltrainer #bodyclassic #shredded #fitnessmodel #ifbb #fitnessmotivation #ifbbproleague #oldschoolbodybuilding #instahealth
